Peter is a Vice President and Head of Bunkers at Hafnia and Co-CEO of Seascale Energy, where he leads one of the most extensive marine fuel procurement platforms in global shipping, built on scale, transparency and long-term reliability. With more than 25 years of industry experience, including senior roles at Maersk, Glencore, Chemoil, and Souz Bunkering across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Peter brings deep expertise in fuel markets, supplier management, and capital discipline.

Since launching the Hafnia Bunker Alliance in 2016, Peter has grown the platform to deliver fuel purchasing value to over 20 industry partners, serving more than 3000 vessels annually. With annual volumes of 7.5 million metric tons across four global hubs, Seascale is reshaping bunkering standards through scale, digital transparency, and sustainable fuel adoption.

Managing compatibility and stability with Porla fuel analyser

JAAKKO LEHTINEN, PH.D. PRODUCT AND SALES MANAGER, AURAMARINE

Jaakko leads Auramarine’s Porla business, driving its commercial development and supporting customers with strong product and market expertise. Jaakko focuses on fuel stability and compatibility analysis for marine and refinery applications. His expertise includes asphaltene stability measurement, crude oil and marine fuel oil analysis, and the practical use of the Porla Fuel Analyser to support safer and more efficient fuel handling, blending, and bunkering operations.

Jaakko holds both a Ph.D. in Physics. His scientific background focuses on photoacoustic spectroscopy and advanced measurement technologies, providing a strong foundation for his work in developing and commercialising sophisticated analytical instruments for demanding industrial applications.

John is Auramarine CEO and leads company's strategic direction, focusing on technology development, international growth, and supporting the shipping industry’s transition toward safer and more sustainable fuel solutions. Prior to Auramarine, he served as CEO of Raumaster and held senior leadership roles within the international Voith Group, working across Europe and Asia. His background brings strong expertise in industrial technologies, global operations, and customer‑focused development.

Under John’s leadership, Auramarine has expanded its portfolio to support alternative fuels such as methanol, ammonia, and biofuels, enabling a multi‑fuel future for the maritime industry.
